For more than a year, Natalie worked side-by-side with Jessica and Ryan to plan the perfect wedding day! As many of our 2020 couples have experienced, 2020 threw us a curveball because of COVID.
After a postponed wedding date and numerous restrictions by the City, we had to pull out all the stops to ensure Jessica and Ryan’s stunning wedding day went smoothly.
Jessica and Ryan wanted a classy, glamorous wedding with gothic vibes. Their gold, black and red theme paired beautifully with their venue. They selected the historic Fabulous Fox Theater as the stage for their wedding themed, “Til Death Do Us Part.”
Jessica and her bridesmaids started the morning off by being pampered by Shenise Sheena, Kelle Not and Tiffani Slenker. Once hair and makeup was complete and a quick photo shoot, they headed to The Fox to relax and get ready for the big moment down the aisle.
The happy couple was married on the historic stage of The Fox theater. Following the Ceremony, Jessica changed into a traditional red Chinese wedding gown to honor her heritage at the wedding. Talk about a stunning Bride! The guests then entered into the main lobby for dinner, with a few surprise guests in between.
Jessica and Ryan participated in a traditional Chinese tea ceremony. It incorporates a very formal introduction of the bride and groom, and expresses respect to their families during the wedding.
Jessica and Ryan wanted everything to be EXTRA on their wedding day. And, they delivered. Guests were able to grab a party favor from a strolling table. Yes, you read that right. A person within a moving table. They also were able to experience a live red carpet! Which you guessed it - is a person with a long red carpet attached to their body. It was amazing!
And don’t forget about the entertainment, it is the Fox Theater after all! Guests were treated to a special surprise with Llamas and Alpacas in the lobby for photo ops. Who doesn’t want a llama selfie?!
The details for this wedding are what made their day so special. From the custom seating chart to the Bijoux chocolate custom party favors and black wedding cake from Kaked by Katie, Jessica and Ryan thought of everything. Guests used Selfie N Sips to create a custom drink logo with their own images throughout the night. They even treated everyone to pizza at the end of the night in custom designed pizza boxes!
From the start, we knew this wedding was going to be fun, but it has easily become one of our most fabulous weddings we’ve ever planned!
